Description
A flock of juvenile house finches visited the bird feeders in the backyard. This young bird was waiting for the parents to feed it.
The House Finch, Haemorhous mexicanus, is common in all of North America and parts of southern Canada. It is an adaptable, colorful and commonly seen at bird feeders in small flocks.
