Description

Elves, or nisser are an old and important part of the Scandinavian Culture, these days especially at Christmas time. The elves live in your home, usually in the loft or in the barn. If you treat them well, they will look after you and your home. If you don't, they can be a real trickster! An important tradition is that on Christmas Eve, you must feed them a nice big bowl of rice porridge with a big pat of butter! Here is a series of photos of the elf family's activities in the attic:)
