The Brown Pelican is common in coastal waters of North America and their feeding behavior is unique and it is fascinating to watch them dive headlong into the water and coming up with a fish.
After serious decline in the late 20th century, they have made a successful comeback as the use of pesticides were stopped.
Welcome to my FAA portfolio. I hope you like what you see. Photography has been a big part of my life for many years, and as I get older, it is becoming more so. I was born and raised in Denmark and got to go back and work there for four years recently. I lived in California for many years and now Vancouver Island is where I call home.
