Fern Frond - 365-39 metal print by Inge Riis McDonald. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

A fern is a member of a group of about 12,000 species of vascular plants that reproduce by spores. They do not flower and they do not have seeds.
Ferns first appeared in the fossil record 360 million years ago (late Devonian period), but the present day species date back about 145 million years in early Cretaceous.
