Young Barred Owls

How cool is that!? I go tromping around miles of trails and have had the fortune of seeing exactly one owl and they hang out in front of your house! Grrr. Inge, what a terrific shot. I saw one for the first time last year in our yard and it was so exciting. Am hoping for some juvenile sightings this spring, if the local great horned owls don't run them off. How lucky for you to see them and even luckier for you to be able to photograph them.
