The Little Mermaid is a small, bronze statue located along Langelinie in the Copenhagen Harbour.. Edvard Eriksen made the statuen in 1913 and it has been a major tourist attraction in Copenhagen ever since. It is based on the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen.
