Description
The Stellar's Jay is the provincial bird of British Columbia.
Stellar's Jay, Cyanocitta stelleri, is a large, dark blue black, common in the forests and mountains of the western North America. It is a very smart bird, and a thief, but we love every year when it returns from the mountains to winter in the lower elevations and our backyard.
