Description
Lupines are one of the most common wildflowers in British Columbia.
Lupines have 6-8 leaflets eminating from the end of the leaf stem. The flowers are blue, purple or pink and grow in clusters on long spiky stems. The flowers and seed pods are pea-like. The lupines grow in moist climates throughout British Columbia at all elevations and usually in open areas.
