Welcome to my FAA portfolio. I hope you like what you see. Photography has been a big part of my life for many years, and as I get older, it is becoming more so. I was born and raised in Denmark and got to go back and work there for four years recently. I lived in California for many years and now Vancouver Island is where I call home. How cool is that!? I go tromping around miles of trails and have had the fortune of seeing exactly one owl and they hang out in front of your house! Grrr. But you did make hay while the haying was good and this is a really great image! Your beautiful image has been featured by Wild Birds Of The World. L/F

Inge, what a terrific shot. I saw one for the first time last year in our yard and it was so exciting. Am hoping for some juvenile sightings this spring, if the local great horned owls don't run them off. How lucky for you to see them and even luckier for you to be able to photograph them. I'm envious! F/L
