Water Lily � part of the Nymphaeacea family of flowering plants. There are about 35 species of Nymphaeacea in the Northern Hemisphere.
Water lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water whit leaves and flowers floating on the surface. Leaves are round with a radial notch.

Welcome to my FAA portfolio. I hope you like what you see. Photography has been a big part of my life for many years, and as I get older, it is becoming more so. I was born and raised in Denmark and got to go back and work there for four years recently. I lived in California for many years and now Vancouver Island is where I call home. Travel was a big part of my career and the camera was often part of my carry-on. My interests in photography are varied - I try to capture the light wherever I can.
