Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

The Harvest Moon is the full Moon nearest the start of Fall or the Autumnal equinox. It is usually in September and only rarely in October.
The Harvest Moon is not like the other Moons. Usually, throughout the year, the Moon rises and average of abut 50 minutes later each day, but near the autumnal equinox, the difference is only 30 minutes.
The full Harvest Moon rises at sunset and then will rise near sunset for several nights in a row because the difference is at a yearly minimum. It almost seems like there are full Moons several nights in a row.
The abundance of bright moonlight early in the evening was a traditional aide toharvest crews, hence the "Harvest" Moon.

I was born and raised in Denmark and got to go back and work there for four years recently. I lived in California for many years and now Vancouver Island is where I call home. Travel was a big part of my career and the camera was often part of my carry-on. My interests in photography are varied - I try to capture the light wherever I can. To me photography is all about seeing and I don't just see things one way in this exciting and versatile world. What I often try to do - is tell a story with my image - or invoke a feeling with mood and light. Photography is a continuing...
