The greylag goose is a bird in the waterfowl family. It is a common goose in Europe and Asia that migrates to southern Europe in the winter. It is a large bird measuring 75-90 cm in length, weighing about 7 lbs.
These beautiful geese have their young in the north. They typically mate for life. Both parents care for the young.
