Description
Dill, Latin name Anethum graveolens, is an annual herb, commonly used in food preparation. It typically grows from 40-60 cm tall with fine thinly divided, thread like leaves. Both fresh and dried leaves are used in the preparation of seafood, soups, pickles and other foods. The seeds taste similar to caraway and oil can been extracted from the seeds and used as an essential oil in soaps and cosmetics.
